When IPPOTHESIS was born 10 years ago, we knew very well that her life would not be easy. As the only association that understood from day one that we had to fight to establish legislation for equines, otherwise they would continue to suffer and be abused in a country that treats them as tools.
Not only by the competent authorities, but also by its citizens themselves.
We dreamed big and we can only feel very proud that we are approaching our goal.
Through Eurogroup for animals and our cooperation with international equine protection organizations such as: The Donkey Sanctuary, Animal Welfare Foundation & Tierschutzbund Zürich, Deutscher Tierschutzbund, World Horse Welfare,
we participated during last months in a very important working group creating a written official position, a white paper, to ensure through the European Union the welfare of equines in Europe.
In this text, which is currently available only in English, you will find useful information on the welfare rules for all categories of equines as well as on the current European institutional framework.
These actions of ours are not popular at all as they are not attractive to sponsors, volunteers or the media, but this will not stop us.
Without a law and control mechanism no matter how many animals you save, it will never be enough.
