Law 4711/2020 includes ban of equine slaughter

For the first time equine slaughter is banned by law. Article 17 of Law 4711/29.7.2020 Chapter B" "Prohibition of the use of any kind of animal in any kind of spectacles and other related activities"

Paragraph 3 of article 12 of law 4039/2012 (A'15) is replaced as follows:

«3. Breeding, training and use of animals for any kind of battle is prohibited. Breeding,use and export of dogs, cats and equidae for the production of fur, leather, meat or for the manufacture of medicinal or other substances. "
