Equine still unregistered in Greece

"Don't be silent in their abuse, be their voice" This is exactly what happened in Trikala where citizens found a horse, probably hit by car, lying down suffering and dying. They managed through investigation along with local police authorities to locate stable establishment of the same owner where more dead horses were found. Video was upload by Mrs Margariti who found the horse and talked with our association. We only advised her how to react according to our experience concerning equine abuse. Where all these equine breeders are registered in Greece according to legislation? Until now a database for registered equines doesn't exist while there is not even equine identification or ownership document. Which public authority has checked this establishment? Why when there is an urgent case, for equines and not only, in our country we have to wait until public vets open their office next morning? Eurogroup for Animals
